There’s a new challenge putting your eye to the test at Open House Porto! We invite you to participate in a photographic action that proposes discovering, aligning, and merging the diverse lives of architecture into a single shot.
Ask the Open House Porto volunteers for your framing window, and set off to discover architecture in a more attentive and conscious way. The first objective is to explore the space like a researcher, looking for evidence of the past: old architectural elements, forgotten textures, or marks left by past uses—everything serves as a clue! Then, use the visual fragments to find the exact angle where “yesterday”and “today”fit perfectly through your lens.
For the final shot, invite someone—a friend, family member, or another visitor—to join your composition. Add a new layer and capture a photograph in which the vestiges of the past, the architecture, and the experience lived during the visit are placed in dialogue. Don’t forget to share your photos with us on social media.
